LOGO ANIMATION

As an avid movie-goer, I am fascinated by the animated movie studio logos that appear at the beginning of most films. So for the final project in a motion graphics class, I chose to imagine my own logo in that style. The animation takes the elements of the logo graphic and elucidates their meaning and form — from the concept of passage through an archway to the stylized letter A. Though short, the piece illustrates control of various techniques in Adobe After Effects, such as keyframing and track matting.
